Tonight we show you a very cool technique in our Blog Hop!

 

 

This time we tried out the Blackout Embossing technique!

What you need, is a 3D Embossing folder, some vibrant colours and blending brushes and a darker colour Ink pad.

The first step ist to put your paper in the Embossing folder and put it trough the maschine.

Now turn your paper with the DEbossed side up! 
Ad colour to the debossed images using your blending brushes, as you can see, I used Soft sea foam, Lemon lolly and summer splash to colour.

 

Now it is the time to grab your dark inkpad (preferibly foam) and wipe it gently over the cardstock, I used night of Nava on this big  14,8 x 14,8cm card. This technique really makes the colours pop

 

The next two cards are only 10,5 x 10,5 and here I used my black memento ink pad, this is not a foam one but it still worked out very well!

 

 

 

And on this card, i tried the opposite.. I took the embossed Side and put colour on the increases and then the embossed motives took up

the colour, not bad either??
